2024
It started with my daughter.
I had a work project at the time about supply chains, how a thing gets made, moved and paid for. So I built one for her. A small clothing line with her name on it. I designed it, set up the store, sold myself a copy, and watched it come back to my door. Every step by hand. That reel is the proof.
Along the way
Between then and now I kept building small things for the house. math.zurishouse.com to teach calculus. FamAgree to write the rules of the home down and agree to them. This is the same habit.
2026
ZAIRE is for Nolyn Zaire. I kept buying him clothes from other people's brands and thought: I could just make ours. So I did. A tee, a hoodie, a crew, a beanie, a couple of patches. His name on the label, a river on the chest.
The difference this time is how it got made. I didn't click through it. I talked it through. Every part of this, the designs, the print files, the product setup, the store you're standing in, the checkout, the fulfillment, was set up by dictating to an agent. Agentic intelligence, if you want the term. The whole sales process is theoretically automated. Theoretically is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
